Travel Gnome Vactions has been up for over a week now

Though not our first client in the work queue, Travel Gnome Vacations came to us with a requirement to take their website to the next level.  As a small business, this local travel agent wanted the ability to update her page, send tweets, publish her blog, and update Facebook all with one posting.  We were able to provide that integration, tying a brand new and fully revamped website with all of their social media connections.  Now, with just a single posting, every medium gets updated accordingly.

We also added a neat function for this travel agency — the ability for them to create vacation packages for friends and family to donate against.  In other words, if a young couple wants to go on a cruise for their honeymoon, TGV can post their travel package online and friends and family can choose to make a donation toward that trip.

And this applies to any travel packages.  For example, maybe for a 50th wedding anniversary, the kids and grand kids can choose to pool their money toward a vacation trip for mom and dad.  TGV will create the package and collect the funds online and apply all donations received against that vacation package.  It’s all private and secure via PayPal.

This is the kind of large business solutioning we provide with the small business budget in mind.  We want to make sure all of our clients feel like their online presence is more than just a virtual sign hanging in the web — it’s your most visible and powerful tool for attracting, informing, and securing new clients.

If you have travel planning needs, why not give them a try.  Head over to www.travelgnomevacations.com, like their Facebook page, and follow them on Twitter.
